Red Ribbon Week 2022 is October 23 – 31st. The mission of this annual campaign is to help kids stay drug-free, so they can be the best they can be now and into the future. Keep in mind, that research overwhelmingly shows that young people who refrain from substance use are less likely to grow into adults with substance abuse problems.
This year’s theme for Red Ribbon Week is “Celebrate life. Live Drug Free.” Support the week by visiting redribbon.org and participating in or hosting to activities and games to inspire our youth. Or, become a virtual ambassador by taking the Red Ribbon Week pledge and posting information about staying drug-free on social media. Learn more here.
You can already get started by joining the 12th Annual National Red Ribbon Week Photo Contest. Decorate your front door, house, fence or mailbox according to the Red Ribbon theme. Take a pic with friends and family and then send it to redribbon.org/contest. Out of all the entries 20 will be chosen with different amounts of money awarded to kids and schools.
As we do every year, TSS will be participating by handing out ribbons and competing for the best Red Ribbon Week pumpkin. See how we did in the November newsletter!
