My name is Myron McCord and I work in the Keokuk, Iowa TSS office.

I started with TSS in February 2022, and I absolutely love working here. The Keokuk office works diligently with local companies, organizations and communities, to help keep the workforce and community drug-free.

Throughout the year, our company also makes contributions to various community causes, sponsors local events and even people, including local race car drivers. This is one of the main reasons I like working for TSS: It’s a company that truly cares about people.

In prior employment, I was a Regional Safety Specialist for a nationwide company that had branches in more than 300 locations. My area was the Midwest and I covered 19 states with over 6,000 employees. I would travel to these locations and provide safety training and coaching to the workforce, conduct safety audits, handle any O.S.H.A. issues and lead D.O.T compliance training. I very much enjoy continuing to teach and promote workplace safety for TSS. I currently serve as a DOT-certified collector and am involved in all functions at the Keokuk office – from administrative tasks and drug screening to safety training.

I have two main hobbies that keep me very busy outside of work. I have been building custom motorcycles and am a collector of muscle cars since 2000. My main hobby, though, is traveling the country with my two show dogs, Phoenix and Saphira, to compete in conformation dog shows almost every weekend. I have been very successful with my dogs, and they are truly my passion. We have competed in Florida at the AKC Nationals for the last three years. Saphira is a Grand Champion and is the number one ranked Cane Corso (Italian Mastiff) in the Owner Handler series of the AKC. Phoenix is the only female in the Cane Corso breed to have ever been recognized at the silver level in the National Owner Handler Series. We are very proud of Phoenix and Saphira (as well as Rottweiler, Malachi, and Alaskan Husky, Loki, who are not show dogs) and they are much loved and spoiled.

Thank you for taking the time to read my Meet the Collector article and feel free to come into the Keokuk, Iowa office to say hello in person.
